Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Yaris Towed on Dolly

Question:

I viewed the video of the installation of the RM-154 kit on a 2013 Yaris hatchback and am wondering if this kit or another can be used on a 2017 Toyota Yaris iA 4 door coupe? Although I will be using a tow dolly that has lights behind a 2016 Newmar Bay Star RV, I feel more comfortable having running, brake and turn-signal lighting on the Yaris being towed. Appreciate any advice you can provide. Thanks much in advance!

Yes, you can install the Roadmaster Diode Kit part # RM-154 on your 2017 Toyota Yaris so that you can operate the taillights of the vehicle while it's on the tow dolly. You'll need an additional 4-way though to activate these lights and the lights of your dolly. For that the # C55384 will install in line with your current 7-way wiring and will allow the 7-way to be active as well as the 4-way.
