In order to have a complete exhaust system for your 2001 Chevy Suburban you will need a cat-back system like a MagnaFlow Exhaust System # MF15798. Instructions link attached.

When it comes to catalytic converters the general consensus is that a ceramic converter will be more efficient at removing unburnt fuel, but the metal converters will flow better, which might give more power.

The ceramic converters recommended for your car are the:

MagnaFlow Direct Fit Ceramic Catalytic Converter, # MF49667 (Driver Side)
MagnaFlow Direct Fit Ceramic Catalytic Converter, # MF49668 (Passenger Side)

The stainless steel ones for your vehicle are:

MagnaFlow Direct Fit Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter, # MF93622 (Driver Side)
MagnaFlow Direct Fit Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter, # MF93623 (Passenger Side)
