Will ST185/80-13 Trailer Tires Fit the Same Wheels as ST175/80-13 Trailer Tires

Hi, I currently have ST175/80D13 tires. I would like to go up to the next size tire. Can I us the same rims?

The next size up from an ST175/80-13 is an ST185/80-13 and they do both use the same size wheels. You can go up to the ST185/80-13 as long as you have enough clearance all around the existing tires.

The larger size will only be about 0.3 inches taller so that is not going to be an issue. The width is only going to be 0.4 inches wider so it is not likely going to be a problem either. But it never hurts to check ahead of time!

For a tire only in size ST185/80-13 we have Loadstar tire # AM1ST79 which is rated for 1,710 pounds at 65 psi. I have linked a video review of this tire for you.
