High Rise Hitch Ball Recommendation for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2007 Chevy 2500 HD with a BandW HIde-A-Ball hitch but after installing a BandW 5th Wheel to Gooseneck adapter I still only have about 3-4inch clearance between the bed rails and the bottom of the trailer overhang. Would using a BandW Hitch Extender provide me any more height/enough height or is there another solution? Having spent $450 on the Goose neck converter tube I dont want to have to buy an whole new hitch assembly.

B&W actually has a product just for your situation. They make a gooseneck hitch ball that has an additional inch of height added to it as part # BWGNXA2050 which will fit your hitch.
