Easy to Install Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2018 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Hi I am 65 and 54inch tall, will it be easy for me to install this on the back of my car? Do you have any videos show how to install straps and attaching it to the rack? thanks Ps not a muscle lady but can lift 40 lbs or so with one arm.

We do have easy to install trunk mounted bike racks that fit your 2018 Mazda CX-5 but the Thule you mentioned is not a fit for your vehicle. Instead you'd want the Saris Bones trunk rack part # SA805BL which has been tested on your vehicle and fits well. This rack is really easy to install and weighs only 10 lbs so it's easy to lift and manuever too. While we don't have a video that shows the rack installing on your specific vehicle the review video I attached shows it installed on a somewhat similar vehicle to give you an idea.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
