Will Latch Interfere With Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist
Question:
My trailer latch is mounted on the top of rail, see that one person said will not work that way, would I have to change latches or remove to get the lift to work?

I saw the review you were referencing with regard to the Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist # RA-27C and what they said wasn't that it would not work but that the chain is hindered by the latch.
It is possible you may have similar interference but without knowing the exact set up and dimensions of where your trailer latch is it would be tough to confirm any modifications you may have to make. The Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist # RA-27C will require your side rails to be 10" to 15" from trailer bed and the tailgate height to be at least 44" from trailer bed.
