Can Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers TSR10KT02 Install on I-Beam Frame
Question:
I’m looking to convert to the silent ride system and before I pull the trigger I need to know if the silent ride will work on my Lippert frame that is an I-beam frame? Will I have to weld plate to the frame to box it on the outside to mount the silent ride to it? Thanks in advance.

Installation of the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers # TSR10KT02 on a trailer with an I-beam frame will require welding on steel plates to enclose the frame member. My contact at Timbren confirmed this is needed for proper installation and so is a 2 x 4-inch hollow steel cross member with 1/4-inch wall thickness that will bolt in between the two sections.
