Why are Shackle Straps Flipping on Boat Trailer

There are a few reasons why your shackle straps might be flipping on your boat trailer. One is that you are using straps that are too short; 2-5/8" straps such as # 115052 are typically used on triple-axle trailers. Another possibility is that your trailer is being overloaded causing this to happen; while there could also be worn-out or damaged suspension parts.
Any of these reasons could be why your shackles are flipping so you will need to double check to ensure you aren't overloading the trailer and that your suspension remains in tact without need of repair.
