Hi,, has anyone tried to attach this tent to the side door of a GMC Savana 2002?

The Rightline Gear SUV Tent with Rainfly - Waterproof - Sleeps 4 # RL110907 has not been tested to work with the side door of a 2002 GMC Savana, but it is a confirmed fit with the rear hatch. The side door may have connection issues to keep a good seal from rain and also keep bugs out. It has been confirmed to work with the rear hatch, but the side door would require some modifications in at least the strap locations to secure it to the vehicle.
