Can Safety Chain Loops of C60618 be Used for Breakaway Cable
Question:
DOT only requires 2 safety chains is correct but DOT also likes the break away connection to be separate. I would like a front puck connector for my breakaway cable. Thanks.

You can use the safety chain loops of the # C60618 for where to attach the breakaway cable. The trick is that you run the brekaway cable lengh slightly shorter than the safety chains length so that in the event of a breakaway the plunger would pull before any tension was put on the chains.
