I checked with my contact at Camco, and the propane Big Red fire pit has a BTU output of 65000 on the highest setting. This unit is great for campgrounds that prohibit open fires.
I would also suggest the Stovetop Grill for Camco Big Red Portable Campfire - 12-3/8" Diameter Item # CAM58038 if you want to also use this for grilling.
