How Does Lower Straps of Hollywood Racks Over the Top Attach to 2014 Honda CR-V

Question:

Footnote twenty-six is listed for my car 2014 Honda CRV. How do you attach the lower straps to the loops inside the trunk? Should the hooks be looped into car loops with the rear hatch raised prior to tightening the straps?

The Hollywood Racks Over the Top part # HRF2-3 is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Honda CR-V and according to them the hooks should be used on the lower and side straps. You'd need to open the rear door slightly to fit the hooks past the door so that you could secure them and close it.
