Ladder Rack for a 2008 GMC Sierra with the Cargo Management System

Question:

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra with a Cargo Management System GM Part No.: 19158719. Are there any aftermarket truck racks that will slide onto this system? I have found a few pictures on the internet but cant track down a manufacturer. The stock GM rack is pricey and I wanted to see about alternatives.

I do have a ladder rack and tonneau cover combination that will fit your 2008 GMC Sierra with the cargo management system but we do not offer a ladder rack that attaches directly to these rails. I recommended the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Hard Tonneau Cover w Explorer Rails and Contractor Rack part # JEC5468-CR3005 for regular cab models with the 6-1/2' bed, part # JEC5468-CR4005 for double cab models with the 6-1/2' bed, part # JEC5569-CR4005 for regular cab models with the 8' bed, or part # JEC5569-CR6005 for double cab models with the 8' bed.

This system features a retractable tonneau cover that can be secured at 12" intervals along the bedsides and has drains for water management. The ladder rack is made mostly of aluminum and has stainless steel hardware so rust should not be an issue. It installs easily with no drilling required.

I understand that this is certainly not the most cost effective answer you were hoping for but it is the only option we have for you.
