At What Trailer Lenght is Second Friction Sway Control Needed
Question:
I have a 35foot travel trailer with a weight distribution hitch and a friction sway bar. While on a trip, we still noticed quite a bit of sway in the winds. Could a second sway bar be added for additional support?

It is recommended that trailer that are longer than 26 feet use two friction sway control units like the Reese kit part # 83660. Since your trailer is 35 feet a second one would be needed.
