For your 2012 Ford F-350 with the factory prep package, I recommend the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30921. This hitch install using the factory puck system and will be an excellent option for you. It has a 20,000 lb towing capacity and comes with an in-bed wiring harness.

The Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # 9480 that you referenced is not designed to be used with the Ford factory prep packages. I have attached a review video of the Elite Series hitch for you as well.
