Can the Thule Outbound # TH868 Sit Inside a 39 Crossbar Spread on a 2006 Subaru Forester
Question:
Can I put the Outbound carrier on top if the rack crossbars instead of inside them? The clearance between my crossbars is 39, the bag is 36 inch long. Thanks!

The Thule Outbound can definitely fit inside the 39" crossbar spread on your 2006 Subaru Forester. This would be the better way to secure this bag instead of trying to set the edges on top of your rails.
