Best Bike Rack for Carrying an Electra Townie Bike on a 2017 Honda Accord

I just bought a Electra townie and own a 2017 Honda Accord. Which bike racks would be most compatible with my car and bike? Preferably easy for use for a woman and that hold at least 2 bikes. Thank you.

Does your 2017 Honda Accord have a trailer hitch? If not I recommend # C11496 because it is going to be the best option for a bike rack.

It looks like all of the current Townie models have fenders with the exception of the Original 1. And all of them have step-through frames so those are important bike features that will help determine the best bike rack for you. And since the hitch is a Class I the bike rack will need to be Class I compatible.

The Kuat Transfer # KU74FR is a great option. The hooks will clamp down on the front tires of the bikes. Even though the Townies have fenders the hooks will be able to be far enough up on the tires to properly secure the bikes. Platform racks like this are easier to load compared to hanging racks because you can put one end of the bike on the rack at a time. The U-shaped frame of this rack also makes loading the first bike even easier! It has a capacity of 40 pounds per bike. I have linked a video review for you.
