Can Maxxair Roof Vent Cover MA00-933066 Fit Forest River R-Pod 178
Question:
My R-Pod 178 had a non-flat roof. Will the Maxxair fit snugly and be leak-proof?

Helpful Expert Reply:
On the Forest River R-Pod 178s the center section of the roof is fairly flat so if a standard 14 x 14-inch roof vent is installed then you should not have any trouble installing a vent cover like the MaxxAir # MA00-933066.
This cover attaches to the existing vent assembly, NOT to the trailer's actual roof surface, so you do not need to drill holes in the camper's roof. Slight curvature of the roof will not prevent installation since the cover connects to the existing vent. You can refer to the linked video to see how this item installs to provide leak-free service.
