Spare Tire Bike Rack for 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited with Backup Camera

Why wont this work with the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL with backup camera? Is it just because it will block the view??

The Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier # HRSR1 that you referenced will physically fit and work fine with the spare tire on your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited. The issue is that the the carrier will simply block the rear backup camera view on your Jeep. If this is not a problem the bike rack can certainly be used and will work well.

The sturdy cradles on the carrier can support 2 bikes of up to 35 pounds each. With this or any other hanging-style rack you may need an adapter bar like the Kuat # UB01 if you plan on transporting any children's, women's, or alternative frame bikes. This will provide a horizontal attachment point for level transport and improved ground clearance.
