Weight distribution systems are not designed to be used with a gooseneck hitch. They are only designed for trailers that are being towed by vehicles that have hitches installed at the rear of them. So your best solution will be suspension enhancement for your 2014 Ram 1500. Also, you shoudl note that truck bed payload does not refer to the amount of pin weight the truck can handle while towing a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch. The payload refers to the truck bed's capacity and gooseneck hitches attach to the truck frame so the capacity is higher.
For suspension enhancement that will help support the rear suspension of your truck as you tow within it's capacity the Timbren kit part # TDR1500DQ would be your best option. This gives you the support you want without having to monitor air pressure or run air lines like an air bag kit would require. I attached an install video for this kit as well.
