Troubleshooting Powered A-Frame Jack Needing Jumper Wire for Ground
Question:
I annoy get jack tp pick up ground. I have scraped paint around bolts. I how have to run a ground wire from bold to battery terminal. I use a 12volt Marin’s style battet that I set on a frame tongue when I need to use

Is your trailer aluminum? If so, that would explain why it's not wanting to ground well enough to sufficiently power the Stromberg Carlson powered A-frame jack part # JET-3755. Otherwise you might try running the ground of your trailer battery directly to the trailer frame.
