Tow Bar Wiring for 2018 Ford Edge SEL
Question:
You state their is no wiring kit but recommend magnetic lights for the 2018 Edge SEL. Are you aware there is no place to put magnetic lights on the roof of a 2018 Edge as there was in previous models? There is no metal area in the rear due to the sun roof. Do you have any other solutions?

There is not a plug-in wiring kit available, but since there is nowhere to put magnetic lights on your 2018 Ford Edge SEL you will have to use a splice-in wiring kit.
I recommend the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Kit # RM-152-98146-7. Please keep in mind that since your vehicle has variable voltage tail lights, two 50 ohm, 10 watt resistors will need to be purchased elsewhere for the taillight circuit to work correctly on both SEL and SE models.
