Longer Weight Distribution Shank Compatible with Husky Centerline System
Question:
Thanks for the quick response yesterday from Jason. Question, My wife and I unhooked our camper, my wife was able to remove the trunnion bar from the hanger on one side. I was not able to get mine off on the opposite side. The trunnion would not allow the bar to move away from the top of the hanger. There was no tension on the bar as I was able to unhook the D pin and slide the bar out. I can not get the trunnion to move even with the bar. Can you tell me if the trunnion is to be so tightly bolted that it can not be moved by hand once the bars are off the hanger. I was told by the installer that this is the only way the tension will work. I know, by what I have read that this model was designed to be quiet. When pulling we hear alot of grinding and popping sounds. Can all this noise be caused by the bars being forced to move when so tight? There looks to be alot of wear to the hanger and bars for only driving ~50 miles. Also is there a trained tech in my area that I can take this in to have properly reinstalled. Im in the 32163 area code. Thank again for your help
