Suspension Enhancement for 2015 VW Passat TDI
Question:
I have a VW Passat TDI. Wanting to add support for suspension while towing a +/- 700lb motorcycle on a +/- 700lb trailer. Will the SumoSprings provide benefit in this application? If you do not have any experience with this application, please let me know. Are there other options to achieve a level, safe towing situation and/or augment the SumoSprings? Thanks

Based on our research the SuperSprings Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1125 referenced in your question will fit your 2015 VW Passat TDI. These will definitely help give you additional support at the rear of your VW to better handle the tongue weight that will be applied by your trailer. The wedge-shaped springs will fit between the individual coils of the existing springs on the vehicle to provide cushioning and also reduce body roll and help to keep everything level.
I have attached the written installation instructions that you can take a look at as well.
There aren't any other suspension enhancement products available that are designed to work on your Passat and since you likely have a Class I hitch installed, you won't be able to use a weight distribution system. These coil springs will be your best and most effective option for improving your ride when towing the motorcycle trailer. You will just want to be sure that you also remain under the towing limits of the vehicle itself by checking your owner's manual.
