Trailer Hitch to Carry a Bike Rack on Back of Trailer
Question:
I have a bike rack for a 2inch receiver. Do they make a U bolt adapter 2inch receiver for a 2inch x 6inch trailer frame?

Expert Reply:
No; the only way to carry your bike rack is to mount it to your trailer's frame.
The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703 will fit box frames, C-channel frames, or I-beam frames that are between 22" and 72" wide, so if your boat trailer has that this hitch can work for you.
Also please keep in mind that your bike rack does need to be rated for use behind a trailer. For this I recommend checking out the Swagman Trailhead # S63381 has a 35 lb per bike weight capacity and is 9-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar. To protect your investments I also recommend using the Anti-Rattle Lock # S64027 to secure the bike to your hitch.
