Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K Pin Function and Security
Question:
How long is the pin that s into the tube? My concern is the risk of someone bumping the little handle, causing the outer tube to release under load or movement in the trailer causing the tube to rock, possibly allowing the pin to come out enough to everything down to the ground.

Expert Reply:
The Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K has the pin and holes in the outer tube assembly allowing the entire jack to be adjusted in 2 inch increments. The pin inserts the full 1/4 inch thickness of the outer tube and has a pin to keep the spring loaded pin mechanism from accidentally moving so you won't have the issue of trailer movement or a physical bump causing the jack to release under load. I've attached a video to further assist.
This jack does not come with a footplate or wheel, so you may also be interested in the removable foot plate # JF-101BK or the caster wheel # JC-102 both of which are confirmed to fit.
