How to Install a SnowBear Snowplow on a 2007 Dodge Dakota
Question:
Hi: I have an older / basic snow bear personal plow which I have used on other vehicles. I need to get the mounts for a 2007 Dodge Dakota. Do you have a picture of how this mounts? There really arent any factory holes in the frame for bolting. Also, will I be able to use my old cross member? The picture you have appears to not even require a cross member. Just a little confused. If you could help, I would appreciate it and am prepared to purchase at this time. I just want to be sure what I am getting. Thanks,

In order to install your SnowBear Snowplow on a 2007 Dodge Dakota you will need to use both the Custom Mounting Bracket Kit part # SB397-093 and the 5XM5 Universal Cross Member part # SB324-060. If you already have this exact crossmember then you will not need to purchase another one as you can just reuse the one you have now.
Unfortunately, we do not have any photos of this mounting kit installed on a Dakota but I can assure you it is an exact fit that uses pre existing holes in your frame rail. The installation instructions will be included with the kit for your convenience.
