Bolt-On Spare Tire Carrier with Lift for Better Ground Clearance  

Question:

My 2015 Keystone Cougar came with the Stromberg 4inch Ubolt carrier. I scraped the tire on a driveway, nearly lost it. The departure angle on the 5th wheel is so shallow I need a taller carrier, bringing the bottom of the tire further from the ground. The bottom of the bolt on is damaged from the scrape of the driveway so the hardware needs to be on top of the bumper

We do offer bolt-on spare tire carriers like the Fulton # FSTC1000301 which provides a bit over 7-inches of lift for better ground clearance. In many cases this will provide much better clearance than a simple u-bolt type carrier like # CE22007Z-11050-2. All spare tire carriers, including the hitch-mount type like # C31006, can be seen on the page I linked for you.
