Why Can't a B&W Companion Be Used with a B&W Turnoverball Trailer Hitch
Question:
vehicle: 2011 GMC Sierra My BandW Companion 5th wheel hitch has a sticker on it that say wedges for Turning Point pin boxes are not allowed. Can you tell me why? Thanks.

The B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3500 is not compatible with any rotating pin box which includes your Lippert Turning Point and the Reese Sidewinder. The reason for this is because the mounting point of the B&W Companion will allow for too much movement which could then damage the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch.
