Will Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack Fit 2004 Honda CR-V with Rear Spare Tire

Hi. Will the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack for 1-1/4inch and 2inch Trailer Hitches work on a Honda CRV with spare mounted on tailgate? If not, do you have any recommendations? thanks

The Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 referenced in your question features a distance of 8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the first wheel hoop. It measures 15 inches from the hitch pin hole to the upright bar on the rack.

In order to determine if this will clear the rear mounted spare tire on your 2004 Honda CR-V, I simply recommend taking a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the outermost edge of the spare tire. As long as this distance is less than 8 inches, this rack will work well and you won't have any interference. We have installed earlier versions of this particular bike rack on the Honda CR-V with the spare and found that it worked great.
