Can the Fold Down Truck Bed Expander Part # BX4004-02 Be Used with a Tonneau Cover
Question:
I would like to read the directions for installing this part onto a 2017 Toyota Tacoma with plastic tailgate liner. All links Ive tried so far do not open. I do have a hard top, trifold tonneau cover, but according to your description, that will not interfere with the tailgate extender, correct? Picture of my truck tailgate is attached to assist with my questions. Sorry, I havent taken one with the new tonneau cover installed. Thank you.

The Fold Down Truck Bed Expander part # BX4004-02 which is a fit for your 2017 Toyota Tacoma will not interfere with the tonneau cover so long as it is not installed at the very top of the tailgate. The instructions which I have emailed you separately do include steps for trucks with a tailgate cover. The only requirement is that there is a flat surface for the mounting feet to attach which judging by the photo you sent appears to be inline with your tailgate cover.
