Wiring Extend/Retract Switch on 5th Wheel Trailer Landing Gear
Question:
My landing gear just stopped working mid lift, I cant find any fuses and was looking for shorts or loose wires. I pulled the shrink wrap back and some of my wires came out from my switch. I cant figure out which wires go where. I have a black and a red, an orange with a jumper and a black with a jumper. Im pretty sure orange is hot but not sure which pin it goes to.

Wire colors are not always a very reliable way to identify the electrical function they carry. The linked page displays all replacement landing gear switches from the various jack brands we offer and these do sometimes differ in their wire colors. The best way to go is to find a brand and part number on the landing gear.
The product you referenced, Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010, is a two motor system, so if one of your jacks still functions you can refer to its wiring to guide you on re-installing the disconnected wiring for the other jack.
You can also send us photos of your jack and its switch along with the jack part number to help us contact the appropriate manufacturer.
