Installation of Aries Grille Guard AA3061 on 2010 Ford F-350
Question:
Will I lose my tow hooks if I install this grille guard on my 2010 F-350? What is the weight? Are front coil helper springs recommended, and can 1 person lift, to install?

I checked the installation instructions for the Aries Grille Guard, part # AA3061, and there is no need to remove the tow hooks on your 2010 Ford F-350. The bottom mounting brackets for the grille guard will mount next to the tow hooks. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Aries grille guard. If you take a look at figure 5, you can see that the mounts bolt up just outboard of the tow hooks.
The total weight of the Westin grille guard is around 70 lbs. One person could install this part, but I would recommend to have somebody help with the installation. Having another set of hands would make the installation go easier and faster.
Front coil helper springs will not be needed because of the installation of the grille guard, but are recommended if you would be using a snowplow, winch, or any other heavy equipment on the front of your vehicle that might cause the front suspension to sag.
