Troubleshooting Wiring on 2013 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Hello, I installed the wiring harness on my 2013 Honda Odyssey and recently purchased a boat. The trailer lights don't work so I started by testing the voltage across my 4-pin harness connection. The res voltage to the main but not to the right or left. I have new fuses and Slots 2, 8, and 11 as instructed to do. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? I appreciate your help!

Expert Reply:
If you used a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to check the signals going into the converter box of wiring harness # C56378 and there is no voltage, quickly double check to ensure that the plug-in connectors are secure. Try unplugging them and then plugging them back in. Also take a look at the wires themselves to make certain they aren't crimped, broken or damaged in any real way. In very rare cases, the converter box could be bad, and you would need to replace the unit.
