What you'll need to do to find the stop light switch on your vehicle is use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that lead to the brake pedal switch till you find the wire that has voltage only when the brakes are applied. That's the circuit to use to wire to the red wire of your brake controller.
