How Low Does Pilot Aluminum Universal Side Step Bar # AS-400 Hang from Where it Mounts

Hi I have a 1996 f250hd with factory running boards. However they are still to high for me. Would this work to mount to existing boards. I need to be about 8 inches lower. Thank you

When the Pilot Aluminum Universal Side Step Bar # AS-400 that you referenced is installed the step will be right at 7-3/4 inches below where it mounts so that would be right at where you said you'd need.

These are a universal style fit too so they would work well on your 1997 Ford F-250.
