Recommended Bike Rack for 2 50 Pound Electric Bikes

Please recommend an E-Bike rack that can hold two bikes weighing 50LBS each. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
As long as your vehicle has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver I recommend the Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B. I like the Freedom because it can carry up to two 60 pound bikes but only weighs 22-1/2 pounds itself. It also has cradles the pivot and slide so it makes it easier for the rack to grab the frame of the bikes. This way you won't need an adapter bar.
I do recommend adding some security since the Freedom doesn't include any locks. Use the Saris anti-rattle hitch lock, part # SA3022, for the rack along with the cable lock, part # SA981, for the bikes.
