Automatic Changeover Propane Regulator to Replace 2 Single Stage Regulators

Question:

I have a 1999 Coleman tent trailer, One propane tank ... from the tank is a small round red regulator then a tee with a line going to some appliance then another regulator with a line going to the other appliances. The appliances include a 3 way fridge, a stove, hot water heater and furnace. is there two pressure requirements? I wanted to install an auto change over type. Will you recommend something I can do?

What you have there is an old school way of making a 2-stage regulator by running the propane through two single-stage regulators.

You can add a second tank and replace what you have with an automatic changeover 2-stage regulator, part # CAM59005. You need two Type 1 connection hoses to go from the tanks to the regulator, part # 100473-12 is a 12 inch hose. If you need a different length I've linked all of the hoses we carry that will work for you.

After the regulator you need a Tee to split the lines, one going to the three accessories and one going to the other one. That's a part we don't carry but you should be able to find one from most propane parts manufacturers.
