Will the SumoSprings Part # SSR-187-54-1 Fit a 2017 Forest River FR3 32DS

Question:

I have a 2017 Forest River FR3 32DS. There is a box or angle on the frame that is in the way of installing the spring. The angle is there to protect an HVAC component, Your site says the spring should fit the 32DS. Any suggestions?

The correct suspension enhancements you will want to use are the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit part # SSA41 for the rear axle and the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-170-40-2 for the front axle. The SuperSprings will not interfere with the HVAC cover that you are referring to as it does not attach to the frame rail like the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-187-54-1.

The reason that the rear axle SumoSprings are listed as a fit for your 2017 Forest River FR3 32DS is because it is built on a 2016 Ford F-53 which is what the product is intended for. When the chassis is then shipped to the RV manufacturer there may be additional components added to the frame which would then inhibit the use of certain suspension enhancements.
