Drive Motor Compatibility with Jack on Gooseneck Dump Trailer
Question:
Im wanting to purchase this unit for my gooseneck dump trailer, the problem is that the jacks are on the outside of the frame so I cant mount the motor where the main crank is currently mounted. Could this unit be mounted between the two jacks, if I were to cut the existing shaft that connects the two jacks and mount this in between? I know it would take a bit of fabricating, but Im just looking for the best solution to have electric jacks on my dump trailer, any other suggestions?

The Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for OEM 2-Speed Planetary Jacks w/ 12,000-lb Capacity # BD1824180100 will mount to the opposite side of the jack from your manual crank and gear box. You can use the motor for dual jacks but it will require some fabrication as you stated. I've attached the installation instructions to assist with that application.
