Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying Bikes with Step Through Frames
Question:
What is the best platform style hitch rack for two step through bikes. I currently use an upright hang on style hitch rack and use a crossbar for both bikes so I do have the crossbars if I need to use them. I was considering the yakima two timer or the swagman g 10. Your thoughts. Thanks

I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F.
This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. Since this grabs the bikes by the tire instead of the frame the frame-style does not matter at all. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.
