Best Trailer Hitch for Carrying the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider with a 2015 Town & Country

Question:

I am buying the Hollywood 4 bike sport rack for my minivan. I have a 2015 Chrysler town and country. what would be the best recommended hitch mount 2 inch for my van and that rack? I do not want to have to trim facia of my van and want to make sure it has proper clearance if I use the tilt to open my van trunk. Looking to purchase very very soon!

I recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 75579 to carry the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1400Z with your 2015 Chrysler Town and Country. This may require the plastic mud flap on the driver's side to be trimmed but when we installed this on a 2015 Town and Country there wasn't any trimming that we had to do (see attached video).

The Sport Rider is an excellent choice and will do a great job at carrying 4 bikes. My only concern is that if you check out the review video, due to the length of the rack itself you won't have full access to your hatch area with your bikes loaded. You can unload them and have full access but if you want to keep them loaded you would need to use a swinging rack like the Thule Apex Swing # TH9027XT.
