How to Replace the Aussie Portable Gas Grill Part # 277-000091 on a Forest River Surveyor

Question:

The Aussie Portable Gas Grill comes standard on the new Forest River Surveyor 287 BHSS outdoor kitchen and I was wondering if there was a gas stove that could be directly installed in place of the grill?

The Aussie Portable Gas Grill part # 277-000091 that you are referring to comes with a standard male quick-disconnect propane fitting. This would mean that the propane line that is attached to the RV has a standard female quick-disconnect propane fitting. Therefore, you would need to use a hose with a standard male quick-disconnect propane fitting on one end and a fitting on the other end that matches your gas stove.

I have attached a list of our standard quick-disconnect propane hoses for you. In addition to the fitting you will also need to make sure the propane regulator on your RV is rated for the Btu's of the gas stove you will be using. In order to determine the exact Btu rating of your propane regulator you will want to contact the trailer manufacturer with your VIN but most dual stage regulators can handle around 200,000 Btu's.

Unfortunately, we do not carry any gas stoves just grills which I have also attached for you.
