2010 Chevy Avalanche Truck Bed Expander Compatibility with 4x8 Sheets of Plywood

Question:

I have a 2010 Chevy avalanche and was wondering if I could haul 4x8 sheets of plywood without the extender interfering?

The Fold Down Truck Bed Expander - Black # BX4004-02 has a minimum width of 48 inches and a maximum width of 64 inches. The bed length on your Avalanche from my research with the tailgate down would be about 7 foot 3 inches long, so the plywood will not fit with the extender up. If you are only hauling plywood occasionally and want to use the extender for other loads, then you can leave the extender folded to the tailgate for your plywood sheets which will slightly hang past the gate.
