Collapsable Sewer Hose Support for Shorter Length Hoses

Question:

I have a question about the correct length sewer hose support. I have two sewer hoses, a 10’ and a 15’. I am thinking of getting a 20’ or 25’ hose support which I could use to support both hoses if they are connected together. However, I am not sure how well the support would work for shorter lengths. For example, could I use a 25’ support extended only 10’ and still get adequate drainage? Is there a minimum length the supports can be used? Thanks,

A collapsable sewer hose support will absolutely still give you adequate drainage even if it is not fully extended,.

I do strongly recommend a high-quality support system such as the Sidewinder RV Sewer Hose Support System # CAM43051 which extends 20' and collapses to 12-1/2", measuring 9-3/4" tall and sloping down to 6-3/4" tall from beginning to end, regardless of if it is extended or not. The Sidewinder Support System works with standard 3" sewer hoses and has snap-fit hinges which keep it at your desired length instead of slowly closing while in use.

The other one to look at is the Slunky # S2500R, which extends to 25' and collapses to 15".
