Mounting of Equal-I-zer Brackets to Trailer When Propane Tank Tray Location Interferes
Question:
Hi there, I purchased the wright distribution system EQ37040ET and I need little help. The propane tanks on my trailer are in the exact position where the brackets need to be placed. The tanks are on a tray thats welded to the frame. If I place the brackets after the tanks the bars will simply fall off with a minimal turn. Do you have any suggestions how I can fix this?

Expert Reply:
For your Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37040ET since your tray is right at that 25-32 inches back from the center of your coupler where your brackets need to be, the best solution to use this system is to drill into your frame and directly mount your brackets to the frame at the height you need. This may require modifying the height of your brackets depending on your tray and tank fit.
