In order to install the Replacement Endcap for Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards part # 80-0221 on the Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit part # 27-6115-1445 for your 2003 Acura MDX you will want to remove the entire step from the vehicle while leaving the brackets attached. Once you do this you can then slide the end cap onto the step while lining up the grooves and reinstall using the pre-drilled holes which I have pointed out for you in the attached photo.
