Will the Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack Fit on a 2011 Subaru Outback When Folded

Question:

I measured my neighbors 2011 Outback with a Hidden Hitch and it was 6 and your install was 7. So, Im glad I took your advice to wait until I install the hitch before buying the bike rack. Can you confirm the the folded measurement of the Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack so I can order if it will fit, before my vacation.

I went to the showroom and got the XTC4, # S64665, bike rack that we have on display. I took it to our photo studio and produced a short video showing the hitch pin hole to closest part of the bike rack measurement for you, see link.

Manufacturing tolerances will play a role in the measurement so the hitch pin hole on the rack you receive may be slightly different that the one I used in the video.
