Trailer Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier for a 50 Pound Electric Bike
Question:
I wish to carry an electric bike witch the weight is pretty much on the back wheel. Without the battery it wights about 50 pounds. Sometimes I will add a regular bike about 30 lbs. Will this carrier handel my electric step thru bike???

We have a special rack that is specifically designed for heavy electric bikes. I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider for electric bikes # HLY84FR. This rack has a capacity of 80 pounds per bike.
Since you have a step thru frame you may need to use an adapter bar like part # UB01 so the hook can secure your bike.
