How to Pick Out 2,000 lb Axle Leaf Springs for Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
I need a suspension kit for my 1982 Silver Streak 3411 Supreme tandem axle trailer. The GAWR is 4000 lbs. What measurements do I need to take to ensure proper fit? Im also interested in hardware with grease fittings. Thanks.

To pick out a replacement spring you are going to need to take a few measurements. You are going to need to measure the length of the spring without any weight on it, and you are going to need to know the capacity of trailer/axles so that you pick out the correct rated spring.
Once you know that info you will need to check out the link I attached that has a page with all of the double eye springs we carry. You will need to select the spring that closely matches what you currently have in terms of dimension and capacity. Since you have a tandem axle weight rating of 4,000lbs the leaf spring part # e77SR might be what you'd want as this is a 2k axle spring that measures 26 inches in length.
The standard wet bolt kit you'd want then is the part # 126B2.
